These paintings were inspired by the birds of Teacapan Mexico.  At dusk, you can hire a boat to watch a hundred species of birds that live in this sanctuary.   The Spoonbills are elegant birds, bizarre in many ways.

This painting and the three below were done while an artist-in-residence at Foundation Valpariso on the southern coast of Spain.  It is a visual diary of images that I saw in Barcelona and Alhambra, Granada.

This painting was created while an artist-in-residence at Millay Colony for the Arts in upstate New York.
